Artist Statement

After bisque firing the work, slab built and wheel-thrown, is glazed and then decorated with high fire underglazes mixed with wax and brushed on. The pots are then fired to 2400 degrees F, which produces a vitrified body with the decoration and glaze fused into it. The pottery is durable, non-toxic, microwave, dishwasher, oven-safe.
