Clay by Eric Strader
(To see these images enlarged, click on them, then use your back

Since 1995 I have been a studio potter in Goshen, Indiana, where I live with my wife laura, daughter Josie, and son Calvin. Currently, I hand throw each of my pieces in my studio at home. Then, I transport my work a few blocks away to my downtown studio, where I glaze and fire the work.
My pots include functional pottery as well as one-of-a-kind pieces. Each pot is hand turned on a potter's wheel using several types of stoneware and porcelain clays. After applying a combination of glazes and firing to 2300 degrees F. in a gas kiln, the pots are finished and ready for use. All of my glazes are lead-free and clays are safe for oven, microwave and dishwasher use.
