Artist Statement

naturescapes studio creates one-of-a-kind jewelry which begins with metal clay. Each piece is hand-sculpted, refined and fired in a kiln, much like ceramics, but the result is fine silver, 99.9% pure. The organic forms and themes of the jewelry captures a bit of landscape that you can wear! Each collector's piece is finished front and back and often carries a message for personal contemplation or public statement. Gemstones are often fired in place and only quality sterling findings are used. Our own artist made lampwork beads often are a component of our line.
