Artist Statement

I've been working as a full-time jeweler and craftsperson since 1987 while living in the western North Carolina mountains. For the past seven years, I've specialized in mixed metal jewelry and developed my own process of weaving metals together. Because of the subtle interaction of color and texture, this has become a dominant theme in my jewelry. I belong to Southern Highland Craft Guild, North Carolina Society of Goldsmiths and Mountain Metalsmith Association and have been honored to have my jewelry recognized in galleries throughout the United States.
