Artist Statement

My designs combine graceful clean lines with intricate detail to create a layered effect. Along with the layers, I want to convey contemporary times and tastes while also linking to historic and futuristic influences. I will often translate something from nature into an abstract version that will relate to both an organic theme and geometric playfulness.  When stones are involved, I look for the top grade in color and quality, and then develop the designs to enhance the stone's special character.
