Artist Statement

My mission as an artist is to bring my vision of the world to as many people as possible ...to bring some poetry into their lives ...I love to see the people smile.  My paintings are inspired by my environment in the beautiful Florida Keys.  I paint with big, vibrant colors and my palette is the bird of paradise blooming outside of my studio window, the bright bougainvillea climbing the walls outside and the blinding white of an egret in flight nearby.

Splashing acrylic paint on a bright white canvas brings me so much joy that each day is the beginning of a wonderful promise ...a gift really, that I want to share with the world.
