Help!
Do you love to organize the unorganized? Can you tame the
paper tiger? Love to create new electronic files and folders?
Want to make the world safe for art and artists? If you answer
yes to all of the above, or even yes to one of the questions, you
may be just the volunteer we need! Call The Guild to volunteer
or for more information, 734.662.3382.
Member Volunteers
Members who would like to serve on a Committee or would like to
run for the Board of Directors are invited and encouraged to contact
the Executive Director. Any Guild member in good standing may run
for the Board. Four three-year terms are filled each year. The Board
meets monthly including a two-day meeting in September. Meetings
are the second Wednesday of the month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Ann
Arbor, Michigan. Committees meet as necessary. Mileage is paid for
Board meetings but not for Committee meetings.
Fair Volunteers
Each of our art fairs appreciates and welcomes the extraordinary
efforts of volunteers. Volunteers may help with move-in, children’s
activities, artist hospitality and the information and merchandise
booths as well as other duties. The Guild relies on more
than 200 fair volunteers each year. Please contact The Guild’s
membership associate or, during the summer season, the volunteer coordinator for more information.
