Call for Art! Artspace A2 Open House
Join us for an evening of creative fun as Artspace presents the latest efforts for affordable artist housing in Ann Arbor. Engage in the work by sharing input, meeting artists, and learning more.
To truly celebrate the artists in our community, artists are invited to bring works of art for a one-night show. As a participating artist, you will be welcomed with VIP status, including gallery space to sell your work (without commission fees), free drink tickets, and promotion at the event.
When: Tuesday, May 21 | 5:30-8pm
Where: StudioStudio + York
Call for Art: All artists are invited to display up to 2 pieces of their art (maximum size 36″ in any direction, all mediums welcome) at the upcoming Artspace Open House event. Artists can choose to display their work in the physical event space, or they can showcase their work digitally if preferred. This is a one night only event, so if the artist wants their work displayed in the physical space, they will be asked to bring their artwork to the open house between 4-5:30pm, stay for the presentation, and then take home unsold artwork at the end of the evening. There is no cost to participate in this opportunity.

200: an all media exhibition celebrating Ann Arbor’s bicentennial year
The Guild of Artists & Artisans is calling all artists to submit work for 200, an all media exhibition showcasing work that celebrates Ann Arbor’s bicentennial year. Considered artwork should be a visual representation of Ann Arbor’s present, past, or future. Artwork submissions for the exhibition may be created during the Paint Ann Arbor 200 Plein Air Event (April 5-7) or on the artists’ own time.
Exhibition Dates: May 17 – June 29, 2024
Deadline to Submit Work: April 24 at 11:59pm

Artist Pop-Ups in Gutman Gallery
We host 1-2 artists in the gallery every Saturday for our Artist Pop-Up Series. Our Artist Pop-Ups gives artists the chance to set up shop in the gallery for a day, sell a wide variety of their work, and connect with the community. All artists are welcome to participate, regardless of membership. For more information on this opportunity, please email irene@theguild.org.
